Construction Site Manager
**JobSummary:**
We areseeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Site Manager to overseeconstruction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate willhave a strong background in construction management, excellent leadershipskills, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards while ensuring thesuccessful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
**Key Responsibilities:**
-**Project Oversight:** Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site,ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.-
**Team Leadership:** Supervise all on-site construction personnel, includingsubcontractors, laborers, and site workers, fostering a collaborative andproductive work environment.-
**Quality Control:** Monitor work quality and compliance with building codes,safety regulations, and company standards. Conduct regular inspections toensure work is completed to specifications.- **Budget Management:** Assist in the development and management of projectbudgets. Monitor expenditures and manage resources to keep the project withinbudget.-
**Scheduling:** Develop and maintain project timelines, coordinating thescheduling of subcontractors and equipment. Adjust schedules as necessary toaccommodate changes or delays.-
**Safety Management:** Implement and enforce safety protocols, conductingregular safety meetings and maintaining a safe work environment in compliancewith OSHA regulations and company policies.-
**Communication:** Serve as the primary point of contact for clients,subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on projectprogress, challenges, and milestones.-
**Documentation:** Maintain accurate project documentation, including dailylogs, progress reports, and change orders. Ensure that all necessary permitsand documentation are secured and up to date.-
**Problem-Solving:** Quickly address and resolve any issues or conflicts thatarise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to project schedules.
**Qualifications:**
-**Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering,Architecture, or a related field preferred.-
**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management,with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple projectssimultaneously.-
**Certifications:** OSHA 30-hour certification and relevant constructionmanagement certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) are preferred.-
**Technical Skills:** Proficiency in construction management software (e.g.,Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.-
**Leadership Skills:** Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teambuilding and motivation, effective problem-solving, and conflict resolutionskills.-
**Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills,with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
**PhysicalRequirements:**
-Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
