### **Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Hunter & Hunter. The ideal candidate will oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a crucial role in coordinating project tasks, supervising labor, and maintaining effective communication among all stakeholders.
### **Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Oversight:** Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- **Supervision:** Lead and supervise a team of construction workers and subcontractors, providing direction, support, and training as necessary.
- **Scheduling:** Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any delays or issues promptly.
- **Quality Control:** Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards and adherence to safety protocols.
- **Budget Management:** Monitor project expenses and resources, providing regular reports to senior management and making adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
- **Communication:** Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between clients, contractors, and stakeholders, facilitating effective dialogue and addressing concerns or changes.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of project progress, safety incidents, and other critical activities, ensuring compliance with company processes.
- **Safety Management:** Enforce safety practices on site, ensuring all workers follow safety guidelines and conduct regular safety meetings.
### **Qualifications**
- **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision, with proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
- **Certifications:** OSHA certification (30-hour), First Aid/CPR, and any other relevant certifications.
- **Skills:**
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
